COMPANY BACKGROUND TJ Wire Erosion Limited was established some 17 years ago by Tony Bartholomew. Following the acquisition of the business by Estrella Group Limited in 2004, the business' managing director is now Tony's son, Ben Bartholomew. The company moved to its present site 11 years ago with the current wire erosion shop being the original unit. Since then the company has expanded substantially. As the name suggests, the company originally set out as a wire and spark erosion specialist, but now provides a comprehensive "One-Stop Shop" sub-contract facility to the aerospace and other sectors demanding the highest quality of component manufacture and processing. The present company now occupies nine high quality units in the Draycott Business Park in Cam nr. Dursley. The company is continually expanding and diversifying its manufacturing operations focused on erosion, CNC machining and treatments. The machine shop is currently one of the largest Hurco installations in the United Kingdom.
